What documents are required for admission?

Residents need to bring identification, insurance information, medical history, advance directives, and any legal documents like power of attorney.

Room rates include: room and board, three meals a day, snacks, housekeeping, activities, social services, maintenance service and basic nursing services.

Alpine Fireside offers Skilled/Rehab Care, Intermediate Care, Sheltered Care (Assisted Living), & Out Patient Therapy.  We also offer Medicare Rehab and Respite Care (short-term) stay. 

Residents may have a private or a semi private room.

Alpine Fireside provides all bed linens and towels. If the resident prefers their own pillow, they can bring it. Alpine Fireside also launders the bedding and linen.

Personal laundry service can be provided for the resident for a monthly charge.

At the time of admission, each resident is given the opportunity to open a non-interest bearing personal fund account to be used at the resident's discretion. 

Are beauty and barber services available?

Beauty and barber services are available as needed or regularly scheduled.

Appointments and payments are made at the front desk. Payments can be given ahead of time cash or check made to Alpine Fireside Health Center, billed on their monthly statement or the resident can use their Personal Fund Account to pay for the beauty shop services.

Yes! We encourage this! Join your family member at any meal time by purchasing a meal ticket for a nominal cost at the front office.

Transportation for doctor visits can be arranged for an extra fee.

All medications are ordered from Uvanta. Medication may not be brought in from home or another pharmacy. If it is the wish of the resident to self- medicate and is capable, the care plan team and the resident's personal physician may provide appropriate authorization in accordance with Residents' Rights.

Each resident may arrange to have private telephone service in their room. Each room is equipped with phone jacks, but the resident must provide their own phone. Service at AT&T at 1-800-288-2020 can be arranged by the resident or responsible party. The resident or representative will be responsible for direct payment of phone service. This is not included in the facility daily rate.

TV hook up to the facility antenna is available at no additional charge. Cable can be ordered directly through Comcast at 1-800-COMCAST. Billing will be handled directly between the resident or their responsible party and Comcast. This is not included in the facility daily rate.

We have organized activities for all skill levels. And our full activity calendar promotes independence and enhance quality of life. We encourage families, residents and staff to participate in the programs together to foster a stronger community.
